Taxi Transfers To and From Seoul Gimpo Airport

There are 4 different types of taxis available at Seoul Gimpo International Airport: Standard, Deluxe, Jumbo and International.

The taxi ranks are located right outside both the Domestic and the International terminal, in between the terminal and the parking lot, and each taxi type has their separate rank.

Taxis are the most expensive way to transfer from the airport, although it might be the most comfortable one.

Passengers are required to pay the motorway tolls, (if tolls are passed) on top of the fare.

Standard taxi

The base fare for Standard Taxi is 3,800 Won/2 km and a 20% extra charge for night time and inter-city rides.

Deluxe taxi

The basic fare is 6,500 Won/3 km. Deluxe taxi is a more luxurious taxi than the Standard taxi and it offers a smoother ride, more space and better service in general.

Jumbo taxi

The base fare for Jumbo Taxi is 6,500 Won/3 km. The Jumbo taxis are bigger than the Standard taxis are and can take more people and more luggage.

International Taxi

International Taxi offer services in English, Chinese and Japanese. Taxis have to be pre-booked at least 24 hours ahead of pickup time through either online (using the form above), phone or email. The International taxis are the same as the Standard taxis, except that they come with a driver that speaks one of the languages mentioned.

Operating hours for the international taxis are Monday-Friday 09.00-18.00 and Saturday 09.00-13.00. This service is not available on Sundays, bank holidays or evenings.

Basic fare for a medium size taxi is 3,800 Won/2 km and for a deluxe or large taxi it is 6,500 Won/3 km. An additional fee of 20% is applied to inter-city rides.

Ridesharing Services

Passengers may also use Uber’s services to transfer to or from the airport. It is booked through their normal platform.
