Bus Transfers To and From Seoul Gimpo Airport

There are several ways of transfer from Gimpo Airport to Seoul and the surrounding areas. One of the options, the cheapest option, is to take the bus.

The bus stops at Gimpo International Airport are located right outside the Domestic and the International Terminals.

There are several different types of buses servicing the airport: City buses, Town buses, Limousine buses, Hotel Shuttle buses and long distance buses to Incheon, Gyeonggi and other areas.

City Bus

The City Bus is a very convenient way to move from the airport to Seoul and there are many different lines to several different areas of the city. Generally the buses start going early in the mornings, around 4-5 am, and they run throughout the day and evening until around 11-12 pm. You will never have to wait for a long time to get to where you want to go as they leave between every few minutes to every 15 minutes depending on bus line and time of day.

The bus from Gimpo Airport to Seoul city center takes up to 45 minutes and the price for a single one-way ticket is 1,500 Won. Tickets can be bought directly from the bus driver or at the transport counters in the airport terminals.

Fares

The price for a single ticket is KRW 1,500 for all routes.

Town Buses

Some of the destinations available, among others, are Deajeon, Gangneung, Gwangju, Namyangju, Nonsan and Sejong.

Fares vary depending on the destination.

Limousine Buses

Limousine buses have several different routes and destinations including Seoul Univ, Lotte World, Yeongdeungpo and Incheon Airport.

Long Distance Buses

For cities and towns further away there are long distance buses available. Some of these destinations are; Ansan, Anseong, Asan, Cheongju, Chuncheon, Daejeon, Deokso, Euijeongbu, Icheon, Jeonju, Jukjeon, Maseok, Munsan, Sungnam, Suwon, Taean, Wonju, Yeoju and Yongin.
