Flight Departures at Seoul Gimpo Airport

Gimpo International Airport has two separate passenger terminals, the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal. Both terminals are divided into four floors with arrivals on the first floor and departures located on the second, third and fourth floors.

Domestic Terminal

The check-in desks are located opposite the entrance gates on floor 2. There are a big number of places to eat once through the security check and there is a food court on the fourth floor. There are also a few places to eat on the land-side.

The terminal has 20 gates all located on the third floor and there are charging stations located in several places throughout the air-side.

A pharmacy is located on the third floor and there are a few shops.

There is a lounge located on the fourth floor of the domestic terminal building

International Terminal

The check-in desks in the International Terminal are located on the second floor and the security check is on the third floor. This terminal has 7 gates all located on the third floor.

The duty free shop and several other shops can be found on the third floor while the different airline lounges can be found on the fourth floor.

There are a number of places to eat throughout the terminal, especially once through security.

Gimpo Airport Transfers

Parking – There are approximately 6,000 parking spaces at Gimpo airport, divided into 4 separate parking lots that each have their own payment systems. Fees are based upon whether your car is small or large and which parking lot you choose.

Rental Cars – The rental car return desk is located in the Domestic Terminal and international flyers can transfer to the International Terminal using the Airport Shuttle Bus service that stops right outside both terminals.

Buses – The Gimpo airport bus stops are located right outside the arrivals entrance gates on the first floors of both the terminals.

Taxis – Taxis will drop you off at your desired terminal. Taxis to Gimpo Airport can be ordered online here.

Trains – The subway platform is located underground with exits to both terminals that are reached through escalators. Train tickets to and from Gimpo airport can be booked online here.

Smoking at Gimpo Airport

There are designated areas for smoking outside of the terminal buildings and it is the only place you are allowed to smoke at the Domestic Terminal.

The International Terminal has newly renovated smoking rooms located on the third and second floor once through the security check.

WiFi at Gimpo Airport

Gimpo International Airport, GMP, offers free WiFi for up to 4 hours to all their visitors. To connect, join SSID GMP free Wi-Fi and choose your operating system. Open a browser and fill out the registration form and submit it.

Shopping at Gimpo Airport

While there are a few shops in both the terminals the bigger shopping can be done in Lotte Mall right across the road. At the mall you can find a department store, a cinema, technology, jewelry, fashion and much more.
